The seminar aims to equip the trainees with the necessary skills to be able to respond adequately to the demands of contemporary social reality as it is shaped and formed daily through the movements of economic migrants and refugees. The main objective of the seminar is to enable the trainees to become effective in carrying out their duties in terms of managing cultural diversity and the problems arising from it, improving living conditions, as well as organising the education of children and adults of the above populations.
Training methodology
The programme will be carried out using the method of distance asynchronous tele-training, which includes:
Study of educational material related to the "Qualified Postgraduate Specialization in Intercultural Education and Support of Refugees & Migrants - Theoretical and Experiential Approaches", e.g. E-books, multimedia material (presentations, audiovisual material), additional training material (articles published in reputable journals, official gazettes, legislation, scientific-research conference papers), bibliography-networking2. Continuous online and scientific feedback
The seminar is addressed to:

3. The seminar is graded with 2 points according to the Call for Expression of Interest for the Selection of Teaching Personnel with Project Contract for the "Second Chance Schools" (SSE) Act (No. Ref: 660/8/26235/07-08-2019.
4. The seminar is graded with 1 point according to the "Call for Expression of Interest of INEDIBIM for the submission of proposals for the conclusion of a private law contract within the framework of the Reception and Hospitality Programme for Asylum Seekers and Unaccompanied Minors".
5. The seminar provides the necessary skills to unemployed persons registered in the unemployment registers of the OAED, who wish to be employed in municipalities and services of Reception, Asylum and Refugee Flows according to the Public Call of OAED No. 6/2016 with No.:50988/23.06.2016.
6. The seminar provides the necessary knowledge to teachers, psychologists, social workers, interpreters etc. who want to work in asylum seekers' accommodation centres.
