Join the ERASMUS+ BARISTA Project: Shaping the Future of Barista Training and Tourism
The ERASMUS+ BARISTA project, “Validation and Transparency of Barista Training Skills,” is an ambitious and innovative initiative designed to elevate the standards of barista education across Europe and beyond. With a focus on validating and improving training quality, this project will empower professionals and contribute to sustainable tourism development.
Backed by a diverse partnership of six countries—France, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Spain, and Turkey—the project will run for 24 months, starting in December 2023. Together, we aim to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving needs of barista professionals and policymakers alike.
What Makes the BARISTA Project Unique?
- Interactive Learning at Your Fingertips: We are developing an innovative e-learning platform, packed with theoretical and practical training resources, designed to foster creativity and excellence in barista education. This platform will also be available as a convenient mobile app, ensuring accessibility anytime, anywhere.
- Shaping Policy and Tourism: Through a comprehensive handbook, the project will offer actionable recommendations to policymakers, enabling better regional and local tourism management while advancing the barista training system.
- Hands-On Learning Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to engage in two Blended Learning Mobilities to validate their skills in real-world settings—one in Turkey (April 2025) and another in Italy (May 2025).
