PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
Categories targeted by the seminar:
1. 1. Anyone interested in the specific thematic training.
2. To primary and secondary school teachers, special education staff, kindergarten teachers, nursery school teachers, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, special support staff and other specialists involved in the educational process (Graduates: TEI: Pedagogical departments, Teacher training colleges, TEI: Social Work, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, IEK: Special Pre-school Education, Nursing and related specialties in Special Education).
3. To undergraduate and postgraduate students of corresponding specialties.
4. To those who wish to obtain additional credit for their inclusion in the educational staff of post-secondary education institutions (e.g. IEK).
Training methodology
The programme will be carried out using the method of distance asynchronous tele-training, which includes:
Study of educational material related to the "Qualified Postgraduate Specialization in Special Education and Training - From Theory to Practice", e.g. E-books, multimedia material (presentations, audiovisual material), additional training material (articles published in reputable journals, official gazettes, legislation, scientific-research conference papers), bibliography-networking.
Continuous online and scientific feedback.
Programme objective:
The program aims to provide trainees with education, training and expertise in special education. At the end of the programme, participants will have developed the knowledge and skills needed to respond competently to the role of a modern special education teacher.

1. The seminar is graded with the maximum number of points (2) according to the INEDIVIM's notice on: "Call for Expression of Interest for the Employment of Hourly Instructors of Public Institutes of Vocational Training (PIVT), Public Institutes of Vocational Training for Special Education and Public Vocational Training Schools (PTS), Winter Semester 2019b & Spring Semester 2020a" with No.: 6331/380/02-08-2019, in specialties of a corresponding subject with special education issues (e.g. Preschool Education, Activities, Creation and Expression or Preschool Education for People with Special Needs).

The seminar is graded with the maximum number of points (2) according to the FEC with subject matter: "Determination of Criteria and procedure for the evaluation and selection of adult educators with a fixed-term contract of employment, of Vocational Training Schools (V.T.S. ), the Experimental Vocational Training Schools (P.S.E.K.) and the Vocational Training Institutes (I.E.K.) of the OAED" (Bulletin No. 1961/30-06-2016), in specialties of corresponding subject matter with special education issues (e.g. Preschool Education).
3. The course leads to an optional certification, Vocational Training Program in Special Education issues.
4. The seminar provides the necessary knowledge to teachers who want to work in Special Education and Education School Units (SSEE), in Centres for Differential Diagnosis, Diagnosis and Support (KEDDY), in integration departments, parallel support programmes, early intervention and home teaching, but also to all teachers of primary and secondary education.
5. The seminar provides a strong comparative advantage for employment in Private Educational Organizations (Colleges, CECs, KEKs, IEKs, Care Centres, KDVMs, KES).
